Monday Night Brew*HA*HA

Monday – June 26 (6:00 to 9:00 PM)

The Billings Depot – 2310 Montana Avenue

Price: $50

The Monday Night Brew*HA*HA Dinner will feature local craft beers paired with specially selected entrées, hors d’oeuvres, salads and desserts. The beers will range from the award winning White Noise American Wheat to a Stout or Porter with a couple of beers in between. A selection of wines will also be available with suggested pairings for those as well (soft drinks too).

The evening will begin with a short talk by local historian Kevin Kooistra, who will describe the early history of Billings and the Depot; a jazz combo will round out the entertainment. Located just down the street from the Northern and Double Tree hotels, the Billings Depot is the centerpiece of the revitalized downtown historic district along Montana Avenue. So whether you are a beer geek, beer novice, fully-certified cicerone or just want to taste some local craft beers while enjoying good food and music, this is an event you won’t want to miss. Souvenir tasting glasses are included.

A scene from the movie “Far and Away” starring Tom Cruise. Filmed at the Billings Depot.

Downtown Pub Crawl

Tuesday – June 27 (4:00 to 8:00 PM)

Billings Trolley Company pick-up at both hotels

(free with registration)

Plan to close out “the best section meeting ever” by making the rounds of the downtown brewing district, known locally as the “Beermuda Triangle”. Here’s your chance to sample all the beer Billings has to offer and you won’t even have to crawl, just hop on the Billings Trolley and take it all in. Your first beer is free and so is the ride for all meeting registrants (be prepared to show your convention badge as you board). The trolley will run a special loop service for our convention from the Northern and Double Tree hotels through downtown making stops at all the local breweries about every half hour, depending upon traffic. Have fun, drink responsibly and see what Billings’ downtown brewery district is all about. Stops will include: Carter’s Brewing, Uberbrew, Last Chance Cider Mill, Yellowstone Valley Brewing, The Montana Brewing Company, Thirsty Street Brewing and Angry Hank’s Brewery. Food ranging from snacks to full dinners is available at Uberbrew, Last Chance Cider Mill and The Montana Brewing Company, as well as at other restaurants in the area. Most breweries close at 8 p.m., so plan accordingly.
