Dear Prospective Exhibitor:
You are warmly invited to exhibit at the 66th annual meeting of the Rocky Mountain Section of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. The Montana Geological Society is hosting the RMS meeting at the DoubleTree by Hilton and the Northern Hotel in downtown Billings, Montana, June 25-28, 2017.
The theme of the 2017 meeting is “Brewing Plays – Tapping Resources”, which links the ongoing search for oil and gas in our Section’s many basins with the rapidly growing craft brewing industry in Billings. We are planning a number of beer-related events, including Montana craft beers at the Sunday Icebreaker, Billings craft beers with food pairings at the Monday Night Brew*HA*HA at the Billings Depot, and a Tuesday evening Trolley-guided pub-crawl through the ‘Beermuda Triangle’ to visit all six downtown breweries.
The exhibit area at the DoubleTree Convention Center provides ample carpeted space adjacent to the oral session rooms. Additional session rooms and the Poster session will be in the Northern Hotel Conference Center. Free wireless internet service will be provided. The DoubleTree exhibit hall will form the core of the meeting, including the opening icebreaker reception on Sunday evening. The exhibits will be open from the icebreaker on Sunday evening through 4pm Tuesday afternoon. Security will be provided in the exhibit area overnight.
Additional details will become available on the website, or by contacting Duncan McBane (Exhibits Chair). Feel free to call, or email, should you require additional information.
